Oil Cooler Kits
Even in stock form, water-cooled VW engines run excessive oil temperatures. It is not uncommon for a Golf to reach temperatures of 260F, even in the normally aspirated conditions. There is a point in almost any engine that high temperatures will start to cause power loss. An oil cooler kit can help by giving you some thermal reserve in those high heat/stress situations. All our kits include a thermostatic adapter plate to allow oil to reach operating temperatures quickly and not to undercool the engine. Oil coolers are mounted in front of the radiator, using brackets. On the VR6 and A3 models we locate the cooler in the fender area using a front air duct to feed cool air. These conversions are ideal for hot climates or continuous, high power output. Available for all ND Turbosystems models also.

• Aeroquip steel braided rubber coated (blue) high pressure lines with steel cadmium plated ends, and completely assembled.
